NEEDLES is designed by Keizo Shimizu, the wonderful founder of NEPENTHES ( the fashion establishment that also brought us ENGINEERED GARMENTS ).

the needles fall winter collection is entitled "waiting for someone under a pale grey sky". the no-collar jackets with big metal chunky buttons make me mutter "hello chanel!" and those mohair-esque jumpers are called shaggy dogs. the slightly off-the-body silhouette is very i-dont-giva-shit but in a cool way. and the total aesthetic is like a homeless chap with an inner dapper beau, which is just awesome
