BUVETTE is my favorite new restaurant, or, as the owner calls it, a gastroteque. this rustic little place is filled with magic. the waiters are quirky, charismatic, enthusiastic, and they bust their asses off. servers at the bar works in buttoned-up shirts, waistcoats, and newsboy caps. nostalgia! the octopus and the rabbit are delicious, and the sauce is so good, john and i kept asking for more oily-soft bread that comes with crisp shreds of bittersweet onion on top. eating here makes me feel like i am a kid in a circus who keeps gasping and oooh-ing. the magnificent finale of the dinner would be the chocolate mousse and a cup of americano. ummm
