the rainbow connection

i was trying to stay dry outside cafe pick me up in alphabet city cos the rain has been a bitch, but then the sky started lighting up again and i was wondering what if there came a rainbow?! and then poof! a rainbow appeared in front of me. a whole arc of rainbow. people started flooding out from shops and cafes and stared. all the smiles, theirs and mine made this more beautiful. rainbows are like totoro, shooting stars, or fairies, they only show themselves to people who believe in them. i purred, "magical." the girl next to me was like,"yea, i always make a wish when i see one. u should too." i tried to make one, but couldn't think of anything that i could wish for, cos i got what i always wish for already. i'm in new york, with a rainbow.

after all these years, the future has finally arrived, at least to me it feels like it. i can finally be cool ... with my first iphonem y'all! and how can i have one of these gizmos without a wooden case with stripes that screams wecouldgrowup2gether to accessorize it with?!

hatsu-yuki is japanese for "the first snow", pretty isn't it?! a story i did with jesper larsson in tokyo for I.T POST; styled by masaki kataoka. and just so you know, that little black & white collage made by 妹 would be a tri-level pop-up in the magazine. oooooooh!

the boys of london

the story i did in london with robbie wadge, james smith, and jonathon luke baker, for the upcoming 2010 autumn / winter issue of I.T POST, styled by lovely lotta aspenberg. and for the last shot, james put on those killer gareth pugh heels and tried to strut for us, but this fine young gentleman has zero tranny gene in his bone so it turned out to be such a hilarious comedy. he so funny.
