The moon, the falling star - Look elsewhere
the title of this entry is a haiku by jack kerouac and this picture is a little fallen pedal of nostalgia - drew fishback photographed in brooklyn heights, december 2005, i lost a favorite pen of mine after this, but when the shoot was over, we all had hot chocolates at JACQUES TORRES in dumbo, drew and I were smoking cloves, that was sheer bliss
i get long get long without you very well
a little something that always moves me to tears with a whole lotta awe, created by bruce weber, and a fashion shoot in new york should always be like this ...
get down beep beep gotta get up outta your seat
my monogrammed LL bean canvas tote, only if i had the two toned deck shoes and clip on bowtie from BAND OF OUTSIDERS to go with ...
moscot
i am simply fascinated by round glasses now. the miltzen from SOL MOSCOT is legendary, originated in the 30's and they make me think of warhol and lennon, their store on orchard street is simply the heaven for opticals. marios and helge wear them in my shoots and so does jewellery designer slash my crush PHILIP CRANGI, so getting them for my next pair
corduroy west coast short
CORDUROY WEST COAST SHORT from american apparel, stretch cords with two front pockets and one back pocket, elastic waistband, zip fly and snap closure, $32, must have for the heatwaves
le ballon rogue
i splurged on this ridiculously overpriced vintage briefcase at Edith Machinist, just because i am always inspired by the little boy from Albert Lamorisse's film Le Ballon Rouge back in 1956. just believe, we shall get there one day.
Yo te quiero means I love you

jaijai jared
ran into jared jones, one of the nicest skater bois i have ever shot, at tompkins square park the other day. he lives in new york and works at utrecht art supplies now. oh, he also lives with fellow model citizen and canadian simon nessman in queens. i shot him last spring and he looks younger in person now, CUTE!
don't you know, can't you see, when I dance I feel free
jeffrey and I went to the metropolitan opera house to see swan lake by THE AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE the other nite. senior citizens all got dressed up and hip young folks came in vintage traditional americanwear and facial hair that they all look like they work for FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB. Not only did danseur slash heartthrob ETHAN STIEFEL play the prince who made me drool, JEFF took these cute pictures of me too. i felt like cinderalla going to the ball. magnificent!
