back when i was in the flea market in portobello, i was fascinated by all those washed-a-million-times vintage BARBOUR waxed jackets. yet none of them fit me cos they all big. and the fascination continues when i lock eyes with this bird shirt. i think i kinda like birds, they make me sing like snow white and reach my arm out so that they can perch on me. and i almost forgot i took these pictures of some beautiful bird houses in a community garden on 6th street in the east village
isa strutted into town the other night in her ISABEL MARANTS and we had japanese and a lil fun with her newly purchased FUJI INSTAX MINI 7S and cutesy little charms of KAPI BARA SAN the capybara. she got the macaroon one and i got the ice cream cone one :P
central saint martins graduate MOO PIYASOMBATKUL makes the dreamiest spectacles with a touch of porcelain. this pair, simply named desire # 2, is from the baroque eyes collection. and fyi, im just trying them on

i love FILOFAX, especially the a5 leather planners, just because they give me the perfect excuse to write with my hands, using a pen, and do therapeutic collages there. its origins go way back to the first world war when an englishman working in the states came across an american organizing system consisting largely of technical leaves for engineers & scientists, then a london based company was founded in 1921 to market personal organization systems by mail order. nine years later, they registered the trademark "filofax", meaning "file of facts". my collection include a black and a blue OSTERLEY. the latest find is a MALDEN in ochre color that i got in london. you know with blogging and typing on your iphone too much, your calligraphy will eventually fade into oblivion. and we can't let this happen
it was supposed to be an afternoon of work but poison girl and i decided to get lazy, screw work, and have a late japanese lunch with hot sake and some flat whites to follow. somehow in bewteen the two festivities, we managed to add even a bigger one to our afternoon agenda - CELINE! she got herself a poppy orange trio with pink hibiscus lining. it is so glorious that it deserves a shoot and a blog entry
